Our mission is Preservation through Education - to educate about the history and advocate for the preservation of the extraordinary history, culture and scenery in the Northern Virginia Piedmont for future generations to enjoy.
We offer a wide range of programs and services, including Classroom Programs for 4th Grade Virginia Studies and 11th Grade U.S. History. We reach more than 4,000 students every year. We offer family oriented interpretive programs, field trips, a lecture series and an annual Civil War Conference with the nation's top scholars in the field. We also provide speakers to groups interested in Virginia history.
All our educational programs and events are financed with membership fees and donations. Mosby Heritage Area Association is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization and all donations are tax deductible.
