Greengarden was the home of the Jesse Richards family on the eve of the Civil War.  It became a noted Mosby safe house, as sons Dolly and Tom were both officers of the 43rd Virginia. The hidey hole in a downstairs closet can still be seen.  Now the home of Jay and Estelle Zeiler, this strikingly beautiful Northern Piedmont Virginia home has a stellar view of the Blue Ridge.
