Lace up your brogans and put on your tricorn! Join MHAA at the historic Rector House to explore the differences between a soldier’s life in the Civil War and American Revolution. Attendees of all ages will compare military technology, cooking and foodways, camp life, and spying with high-quality interpreters. This free program includes activities and take-home souvenirs. A local food truck will be on-site for lunch, snacks, and drinks. Admission is free.
For mom and dad: Local authors will be signing copies of their books inside the Rector House all day. Pick up a copy, learn about their latest projects, and get a head start on holiday or back to school shopping!
